“The Longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamics program produces new, cost effective, public-use information combining federal, state and Census Bureau data on employers and employees under the Local Employment Dynamics (LED) Partnership.” The LEHD created QWI Explorer, a web-based analysis tool, to provide access to quarterly workforce indicators through charts, maps, and interactive tables.

Earnings reports provided by employers (e.g., Unemployment Insurance earnings data); demographic information provided by the Census (e.g., Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages), and Social Security Administration which collect this data through individual self-report on surveys and through tax returns.

Varies based on the state. The earliest state time series begin in 1990. As each state is processed independently, the latest available data across states may also vary at any point in time. In general, data is available from 2009-2014.
